It’s May 4th. May the force be with you day. I came back from a round of board games with our friends, and I tried to check if we won the diversity visa. Of course, the website is stuck from the thousands of visits per second, but after a few minutes, I can check. I...

Last weekend, we went to a family retreat with many families from our church. One thing that I realized while listening to the family speaking there is that in all those years since 2020 when we first applied for a diversity visa and first thought about living in the US… we never had one day...

I will start a small series of quick posts about things I like in the US versus my own country/Europe. Today I am going to talk about clothing. I like that I can go to Walmart and buy a dozen packs of socks – Hanes Cushion. This type of socks: I cannot find good pair...

If you read this post you might be wondering what’s up with that USA flag in my office? Filip, I thought you are Romanian. Well, that means you did not read my old posts from this blog. You might start from this post called “Why we’d like to move to the USA?” and you’ll get...

Well… it’s a lot harder than you’d think! It is the very first time we are applying as a family for the Diversity Program to get a green card in the US. I applied as the main applicant and added my wife Catalina and two sons on the applications as well. We might have had...
We started timidly, with low hopes but confident that if it's God's will, one day we will move to the United States of America.
We participated in the visa lottery for 4 consecutive years and on May 4th,
2024 we found out that we were selected for a possible immigrant visa in 🇺🇸.
We owe everything to God, He will help us until the end.

You have really presented this well. Are you going to let Xarthisius publish this on his website?

I still use WordPress 🧡. The theme is custom Laravel though 😎.
