For the first time since… forever, today is the first time when I left home for a few days and forgot to pack my laptop’s charger.

Luckily, this thing charges with any USB-C cable and I have a power brick that is able to charge it, slower than its original charger, but at least I can work.

Diversity Visa

We started timidly, with low hopes but confident that if it's God's will, one day we will move to the United States of America. We participated in the visa lottery for 4 consecutive years and on May 4th, 2024 we found out that we were selected for a possible immigrant visa in ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ. Unfortunately, even though we were selected, in 2025 fiscal year they stopped at the case number 23.000 for Europe, and we had 29.000. So we did not get a green card... we'll try again for DV2027.

  • DV-2022 - ๐Ÿ”ด Did not win
  • DV-2023 - โŒ No luck
  • DV-2024 - ๐Ÿšจ Nope
  • DV-2025 - โŒ We were amongst the 1% selected, but did not get a green card...
  • DV-2026 - โŒ Again not selected...
  • DV-2027 - ๐Ÿ•ง We find out in days, hours, minutes, and seconds (application in October 2025, results in May 2nd 2026)

I still use WordPress ๐Ÿงก. The theme is custom Laravel though ๐Ÿ˜Ž.
